Earn extra money sharing a site that helps people get hired.

Once you're approved, you get a personal link like typethrive.com/?ref=yourname. When someone visits TypeThrive through your link, the visit is credited to you for 30 days. If they create or sign in to an account and make a purchase within those 30 days, you earn a commission. If they later visit through a different partner's link, the most recent link gets the credit.

Your link works on any TypeThrive page, so you can point people straight to the typing test, a game, a course or the Career Suite by adding ?ref=yourname to that page's address.

One-time purchases (for example, courses): 20% of the amount paid.

Subscriptions: 20% of the first payment of a new subscription. Renewals are not commissionable.

Commissions are calculated on the amount actually paid, before any taxes or fees we don't control. Partners who consistently send a large number of customers may be offered different rates or a special link for their audience, at TypeThrive's discretion.

New commissions stay pending for 30 days to allow for refunds. A commission on a purchase that is refunded, disputed or charged back is cancelled.

Approved commissions are paid monthly by PayPal once your approved balance reaches $25; smaller balances roll over to the next month. You're responsible for any taxes on your earnings, and we may ask for the tax information the law requires before paying you.

You may share your link in places you own or run, or where links and recommendations are clearly welcome, as long as the content is honest and genuinely useful:

• Your own website, blog, newsletter or resource page
• Your own social media profiles, posts, videos, live streams and video descriptions
• Videos are encouraged: honest review videos, reaction videos to TypeThrive or to our videos, tutorials, walkthroughs and "I tried it" videos on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and similar platforms, with your link in the description, bio or pinned comment
• Reviews, lesson plans, guides and other original content you create
• Email or messages to people who have opted in to hear from you
• Groups, forums and communities only where their rules allow affiliate or promotional links
• Direct, personal recommendations to people you know

Be accurate. The typing test, the retro typing games, the 8 Beginner lessons and the first 5 Digital Citizenship modules are free; courses, plans and the Career Suite are paid.

The following are strictly prohibited. "TypeThrive" here includes our name, logo, links, and anything that refers to us.

Spam and unwanted contact

• Unsolicited or bulk email, text messages, direct messages, comments or friend/follow requests
• Any purchased or borrowed list. You may not email, text, message or mail anyone using a list you bought, rented, borrowed, traded for, scraped, harvested or received from anyone else. You may only contact people who personally gave you their contact details and agreed to hear from you.
• Comment, forum, link, hashtag or review-section spamming, or repeatedly posting the same link
• Posting in any group, forum, subreddit, server, page, marketplace, school or workplace system that does not allow promotional or affiliate links, or where the owner or moderators have not given permission
• Placing ads, links, flyers or banners anywhere it is forbidden, on property you don't own without permission, or where the platform's rules don't allow them

Paid search and use of our name

• Bidding on "TypeThrive", "Type Thrive", misspellings, or any phrase containing them (for example "TypeThrive pricing") in search ads or any other paid placement
• Using our name in ad copy or our web address as an ad's display URL
• Registering or using domains, usernames, handles, pages, apps or accounts that contain our name or something confusingly similar
• Pretending to be TypeThrive, implying you work for us or that we sponsor or endorse you, or making ads that look like they come from us

Misleading or dishonest promotion

• False, exaggerated or out-of-date claims about our products, prices or features, including calling a paid product free
• Promising jobs, results, test scores or income
• Fake, paid-for or AI-generated reviews or testimonials, or invented screenshots
• Fake discount codes, made-up deals, false urgency or "limited time" claims we haven't made
• Posting your link on coupon, deal, cashback or rebate sites, or offering money, gifts or other rewards for clicking your link or buying

Tracking abuse and fraud

• Cookie stuffing, hidden links, pop-ups or pop-unders, iframes, forced redirects, or anything that sets your link without a real person choosing to click it
• Bots, click farms, or any artificial clicks, sign-ups or traffic
• Using your own link for your own purchases, or for purchases by accounts you control
• Adware, browser extensions, toolbars or any software that inserts your link
• Hiding or disguising where your link goes in order to mislead people

Unsuitable places and audiences

• Sites, channels or content that are sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, violent, defamatory or deceptive, or that promote illegal activity, gambling, weapons or drugs
• Pages that infringe anyone's copyright, trademark or privacy
• Content made for, or aimed at, children under 13, or asking children to click your link or buy anything. Teachers may share TypeThrive with parents, school staff and adult learners.

Use our partner kit. We provide ready-made banners, cards, videos and captions in the partner kit on this page, with copy-and-paste code that already includes your link. We encourage you to use them on your website, blog, pages and channels. Use kit materials as provided, without changing, cropping or recoloring them, and use the kit code as given so your banners stay up to date. The kit code loads images from our servers, which lets us see which websites display them; if your participation ends, banners may be replaced or removed.

Your own content is welcome, including your own reviews and videos, as long as it is honest, appropriate, follows these terms and reflects well on TypeThrive. For your own videos, say in the video itself that you earn a commission, not only in the description. If you react to or include anyone else's content, you are responsible for having the right to use it.

Our name and logo. You may use our name in plain text to describe and recommend TypeThrive accurately. Use our logo only as it appears in the partner kit. TypeThrive owns its name, logo, videos, images, content and trademarks; using them gives you no ownership or other rights. We can ask you to change or remove any content that uses our name or materials, and you must do so promptly.

Always disclose. Clearly tell people you earn a commission from your TypeThrive link, in a way they will see before they click (for example, "I may earn a commission if you buy through my link," or #ad where a platform calls for it). This is required by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides and by most platforms.

You are responsible for following every law and rule that applies to how you promote, including advertising and consumer-protection laws, the FTC's rules on endorsements and reviews, anti-spam laws such as CAN-SPAM, the TCPA (texts and calls) and Canada's CASL, privacy and children's-privacy laws such as COPPA and GDPR, and the terms of every site, app, group and platform where you post. When you send email or messages with your link, you are the sender and are responsible for it.

If we believe you have broken these terms or the law, or put TypeThrive's name or customers at risk, we may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

• Immediately suspend or permanently remove you from the program and block your link
• Cancel and keep all pending and unpaid commissions, and recover commissions already paid for improper activity
• Require you to remove any content, ads or links that mention TypeThrive
• Refuse any future application from you or anyone acting for you
• Report the activity to the platform involved or to the authorities, and pursue any other legal remedy

You are solely responsible for your promotion of TypeThrive and for everything you post, send or publish. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless TypeThrive and its owner, employees and contractors from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, fines, penalties, judgments, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that arise from or relate to your participation, your content or promotion, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law, platform rule or anyone's rights. This means that if a platform, regulator, customer or anyone else brings a claim, fine or penalty against TypeThrive because of what you did, you are responsible for it.

TypeThrive does not review or control what you post or how you promote, and is not responsible or liable for any act or omission by you, including any negligence, neglect, ignorance of these terms or of the law, carelessness or irresponsibility. The program and our tracking are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, and we don't guarantee that tracking will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent the law allows, TypeThrive will not be liable to you for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost income, and TypeThrive's total liability to you for anything related to the program is limited to the approved commissions we owe you.

We review every application and may approve or decline it at our discretion, without having to give a reason. Either you or TypeThrive can end your participation at any time. If it ends for any reason other than a rules violation, approved commissions earned before the end date are still paid under these terms. When your participation ends, you must stop presenting yourself as a TypeThrive partner, and commissions stop.

TypeThrive may change these terms, including commission rates, the 30-day window, payout rules, eligible products and these promotion rules, or pause or end the program, at any time and without asking for your permission. Changes take effect when they're posted on this page, and continuing to share your link after a change means you accept the updated terms. Commissions you've already earned are paid under the terms that applied when they were earned.

You take part as an independent partner, not as an employee, agent, franchisee or representative of TypeThrive, and you can't make promises or commitments on our behalf. Our records of clicks, sign-ins and purchases are used to calculate commissions. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. Our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply.
